How I photo shoot with Kids

Don’t teach a kid to SMILE for the photo-shoot!!! Just don’t!!

Kids can express their emotions very well provided you know your job as a “kid’s photographer” well.. What I mean by this, is that if you make the kid feel happy and relax, you can get not only Big Smiles but great poses and expressions beyond expectations!! And this even if it’s just one shot will be worth capturing than those taught Cheesy smiles…

A few tips -

Most of the Happy & Pastel colors look finest on Kids. I prefer solids over patterns or stripes. Kids with rosy skin tone look great in purple & blue colors (cool colors). However, kids with golden undertone should go for colors like mocha & red or any warm color.

Bright colors are good but should be used in moderation. Too much of these happy colors might take attention off your little model, and I bet you don’t want.

When shooting on a bright sunny day, please don’t use high contrast outfits like, Black & White, White and yellow etc.. as this may create technical difficulty for the photographer.

Dear Parents and photographer, It’s you job to not let the child bother about his/her photo session.

Let the kid behave as a KID… let him/her have all the fun and you as a photographer do your JobJ

May I also remind you to keep a water bottle and some blotting papers handy, just in case………

It's ok to pose "thoughtful" You will look good only...

Be your ownself...

Feel free to pose

Pose pose poser!!!
